Celebrations, 'Calling All String Players'
Sunday 12th Sept 2pm - Germania Club

Orchestra Nova, the Hunter region's premiere community orchestra, is extending a warm invitation to all string players to join with us in the presentation of an orchestral concert. If you are a violinist, violist, cellist or bass player and have ever wondered what it's like playing in a fully complimented symphony orchestra, performing exhilarating music, then come along and join in this wonderful experience!

Even if you used to play or still play in an orchestra, and have a yearning to participate in this splendid opportunity, please come along.

The programme will consist of the following repertoire. All of these works, except The Pirates of the Caribbean, can be found on the public domain website IMSLP (International Music Score Library Project).

Orchestra Nova rehearses Thursday evenings from 7.30pm till about 9.50pm at the Germania Club, 298 Hillborough Rd., Warners Bay.

On 12th September we'll have an 11am Dress Rehearsal, then a shared lunch with all the orchestra members (bring a plate of food), and a 2pm concert.
